Clashes erupted on Wednesday evening in central Athens, outside of the Greek Police Headquarters in Attica between police officers and student demonstrators.
Thousands of students were protesting against police brutality as well as the conservative government’s new ”law and order” policy. According to the students, the Greek police have used excessive force recently as a result of the new administration’s stricter stance.
